Spam Agent Anti-Spam software comes preset with over 1,500 filters for the most common spam issues. Spam Agent also allows you to create custom filters based on email, subject, words, and domain. I really like the fact that this program allows you to report spammers and send abuse emails to their internet providers! That will usually stop the Spammer in their tracks. You’ll be doing yourself and the WORLD a favor.
Don’t worry, Spam Agent has a “friends” list so you can make sure that none of the emails you WANT to receive get flagged as spam. Spam Agent is also compatible with all POP3 and IMAP email accounts (that’s most of them). Web based email like Yahoo, MSN, AOL, and Hotmail are NOT supported. Spam Agent allows you to filter your emails. Filter by sender, filter by recipient, subject, or body. If you happen to make a mistake and filter your friend’s or client’s email, you can safely recover any emails which you might have mistakenly filtered via Spam Agent’s recovery feature. Spam Agent also will also support and manage all the e-mail addresses you use at your location.
Spam Agent comes in a Home version that retails for about $30 USD and a Corporate version that retails for about $40 USD. The only difference between the home and corporate versions is that the corporate version allows you to create a default list of filters to be used by the entire network at your company along with PC specific filter customization.
