Spam Goes All The Ways
This site presents a few of the ways “creative advertisers” work to reach us. We must work just as hard and creative to keep their unnerving, deceptive and often harmful junk out of our inbox. It is bad enough that we have to watch the advertising during our favorite television programs, we shouldn’t have to deal with it in every aspect of our lives.
Despite ever growing technology to defend against spam, there are always more spammers finding ways around it. Being observant, researching and keeping up with the latest gimmicks and being choosy about who gets our information, are the best spam blockers that we have.
Text Me Not
Of course, one of the simplest strategies to reduce text spam, is to simply guard your cell phone number. If a site requires your number to download anything, then don’t download it. Don’t give your cell number to sales people, or businesses you don’t trust.
